The actual voice is carried over an IP-based network using another Open Standard called “RTP“.</p><p>You can use any phone system, including cellphones, that is SIP able or any Softphone application with TekTalk. Using the service on your cell phone will use either your WiFi or data usage on your phone plan.</p><p>We do not support these systems or their configurations. You will need to reach out to the companies in question for support.
