Please note these are just basic examples. You may need to look up more details online for your router model on the process.</h3><h2 data-id="apple-routers">Apple Routers</h2><ol><li>Open <strong>Airport Utility</strong>.</li><li>Click on the router in use and click <strong>Edit</strong></li><li>Click <strong>Manual Setup</strong> and then choose <strong>Airport</strong>.</li><li>Click <strong>Wireless</strong>.</li><li>Change the <strong>Wireless Channel</strong> to your desired channel. You may have to click <strong>Wireless Options</strong> to find the Channel setting.</li><li>Click <strong>Update</strong></li></ol><h2 data-id="arris-tg3452a">ARRIS TG3452A</h2><ul><li>Open a web browser such as Internet Explorer, Chrome, or Safari.</li><li>Type http://192.168.0.1 into the address bar and then press Enter on your keyboard.</li><li>If you haven't changed the admin username and password of your router from their default values, enter <strong>admin</strong> into the username and the password into password fields (If this fails please use the defaults found on the back sticker of your modem)</li><li>Click Connection and then Wi-FI from the subMenu</li><li>You will see near the bottom a section for the 2.4 and 5Ghz ranges that says Channel</li><li>Select the channel you wish and select Save Advanced settings</li></ul><h2 data-id="asus-routers">Asus Routers</h2><ol><li>Open a web browser such as Internet Explorer, Chrome, or Safari.</li><li>Type <a href="https://community.teksavvy.com/home/leaving?allowTrusted=1&target=http%3A%2F%2F192.168.1.1" rel="nofollow noreferrer ugc">http://192.168.1.1</a> into the address bar and then press Enter on your keyboard.</li><li>If you haven't changed the admin username and password of your router from their default values, enter <strong>admin</strong> into both the username and password fields. If you have changed these values, enter your custom administrative credentials.</li><li>If using an Cisco Cable modem you may need to leave both fields blank and click Log in.</li><li>Click on the <strong>Wireless</strong> tab which can be found at the top of the page.</li><li>Click on the <em>Basic Wireless'</em> Settings tab which should now be visible just below the Wireless tab.</li><li>In the Configuration View section, click on the <strong>Manual</strong> radio button (this step may not be necessary on some models.)</li><li>Set the <strong>Channel</strong> field to your desired channel by clicking on the dropdown box then clicking on your desired channel's number.</li><li>Click on the <strong>Apply/Save</strong> button found at the bottom of the page.</li></ol><h3 data-id="smart-wifi-gui">Smart Wifi GUI</h3><ol><li>Open a web browser such as Internet Explorer, Chrome, or Safari.</li><li>Type <a href="https://community.teksavvy.com/home/leaving?allowTrusted=1&target=http%3A%2F%2F192.168.1.1" rel="nofollow noreferrer ugc">http://192.168.1.1</a> into the address bar and then press <strong>Enter</strong> on your keyboard.</li><li>If you haven't changed the password of your router from their default value, enter <strong>admin</strong> into the password field.</li><li>If using an Cisco Cable modem you may need to leave both fields blank and click Log in.</li><li>Choose <strong>Wireless</strong> on the left side of the page under Router Settings</li><li>Click <strong>Edit</strong> on either the 2.4GHz or 5GHz network.</li><li>Change the <strong>Channel</strong> selection to your desired channel.</li><li>Click on <strong>Apply</strong>.</li></ol><h2 data-id="hitron-combinations">Hitron Combinations</h2><ol><li>Navigate to the Hitron CGN3 user interface. <em>(192.168.0.1)</em></li><li><em>If you have not changed the defaults, use the default credentials of </em><strong><em>cusadmin</em></strong><em> for the username and </em><strong><em>password</em></strong><em> for the password.
