This can clear any errors the modem may be experiencing including the Red light.</p><h2 data-id="how-do-i-fix-the-redoff-internet-light">How do I fix the Red/Off internet Light?</h2><p>You will need to configure your modem again. Try without the filter or splitter? If possible try another phone cord from the modem to the wall jack? </p><p>The final test is to hook the modem up at the demarcation point. In an apartment, you may not have access to this. However in a house, this is usually a small box that the external phone lines run to on the outside of the home.
